Pour your own pixels..
Pour your own pixels..
Some really interesting installation work over at kneeon.tv that manages to create the illusion of movement within a still object. The idea of moving pixels within the real world is a clever one.
“Titled “Pixel Pour,” installed in April 2008 on 9th St. and 2nd Ave, gained overnight internet fame. To Kneeon’s surprise, the sculpture began showing up on blogs from NotCot to Gothamist to Boing Boing just days after installation.”
Sadly the piece was stolen and its where abouts are now unknown, one of the perils of creating street art I’d imagine.
You can see more of the artist’s work at kneeon.tv
