Since discovering this Perfume packaging design over at Behance I keep finding myself returning, again and again, to re-look at it.
Really like the idea of taking what is generally a female product and designing it in a more gothic, dark masculine way and using the influences in the way they have.
The design company behind it are called Ah&Oh and here is some of what they had to say about the project..
“At the beginning we were concentrating on the idea of the scent itself. We found inspiration in the great, dark literature and distinctive, strong characters.
We tried to describe the dark sides of men’s nature with line of scents named after famous writers. We packed the scents into bottles which resemble both old glass perfume bottles and the classic shape of the inkwell. We made them white, added black strong lettering and heads of characters which loosely recall autor’s famous masterpieces.“
