The Future of Stained Glass – Installation

Produced by SoftLab this futuristic stained-glass installation really lifted my spirits. An array of colours are used but unlike a traditional stationed glass window this is a fluid form and really gives a wow factor to the offices of Behance in New York. Good Vibrations

Some interesting artwork from Loris Cecchini, creating the physical effect of rippling walls, it seems a little alien or other world like. The white walls have the appearance of disturbed water, or vibrations within water but having them on a wall makes them seem like they could be a portal. More of the artists work below and over […]

Extreme Upcycling – Cluster Bomb Drinks Cabinet

There’s upcycling and then there’s extreme upcycling. This is a crazy project from those people at Fallen Furniture that brought you the Boeing 777 Coffee Table. It’s a cluster bomb that’s been lovingly up cycled into a stunning drinks cabinet, very unusual but it looks gorgeous and certainly wouldn’t be out of place in a Bond villain’s lair.

The psychedelic artwork of Bruce Riley

The art of resin painter Bruce Riley really does inspired me, after seeing him work I’m ashamed to say that I was quickly Googling ‘resin’ and where to buy it, as if it’s that easy. I find his work incredible, not only the end result but the way it’s made and also watching these videos of that creation in […]

The designer James Edmark says “These are 3-D printed sculptures designed to animate when spun under a strobe light. The placement of the appendages is determined by the same method nature uses in pinecones and sunflowers. The rotation speed is synchronized to […]

Simon Beck – Snow Walker and Artist

Now we’ve all seen and heard of crop circles but snow circles is a new one on me, or to be more exact, snow patterns. Simon Beck is an artist who walks the walk, literally, and usually through a couple of feet of snow. He creates intricate and detailed patterns just by walking through the […]
