Barbican Jazz and Blues Festival May 1-10 2009 – Brochure Design
It’s back again – The Barbican Jazz and Blues Festival. and once again Dot Design had the pleasure of designing of this years brochure.
Keeping to the overall style of the year before we created a fresh cover, made the listings more user friendly and also the locating of venues on the map and throughout the brochure easier to find.
The festival looks even bigger and better this year with the line-up including
Abram Wilson
Son of Dave
The Portico Quartet
Diz Watson
Cherry Lee Mewis
Preston Reed
“And there’s loads of excellent local acts too, with free and paid-for gigs all over the historic and picturesque Barbican area of Plymouth, Devon.
There’s something for all tastes in this Festival: we’ve got scorchin’ electric blues, rappin’ jazz, abstract sound landscapes alongside supper-club sounds, free daytime gigs and street-parades with New Orleans-style bands too.”

So make sure you get down there!

Looks pretty good.
If you’re anything like the rest of us designers, I bet the first time you looked through it, you were hoping there wasn’t any erors – even though it’d been proof-read to death before print 😉
Keep up the good work, Gareth

Yeah there is always that moment, I think we all get it, but I’m happy with how it turned out. Thanks for stopping by Andrew.
